After finding me online or hearing about me from a friend, contact me to let me know you'd like to set up a FREE consultation call. During the Zoom call, we'll meet to talk about what you're envisioning for your elopement day, your hopes and dreams, and what part I could play in capturing all of it for you. You'll also be able to ask me any questions you might have.
2. Signing the Contract
It's time to sign the contact and pay the retainer fee to make me your official photographer!! Yay! Seriously, I know signing documents isn't usually defined as fun but know that once you've done this, I can jump right in to supporting you as you plan this amazing day!
3. Brainstorming Questionnaire
I know many couples aren't totally sure of what they want when they're beginning the planning journey and even if they do, there's still probably a lot to think through. I'm going to send over a questionnaire that will help me get to know you and allow you to articulate your dreams for what you want this day to be like.
4. Location, Location, Location
Part of the questionnaire includes questions about where you'd like to elope. Whether you have an exact location or are open to ideas, I'll work with you to decide on the perfect spot. I send my clients a list of suggested locations specified to your unique day, and we work from there to figure out what spots will be everything you dreamed of and more.
5. The Nitty Gritty
As the months (or maybe just weeks) pass by, you'll have unlimited consultations as each detail is ironed out. Have questions about where to find the perfect elopement dress? I've got several shops in mind! Not sure if your location needs a permit or not? I'll give you guidance and help with research. I let each of my clients know exactly what permits they need, especially those who are marrying in National Parks or on public land as some of those permits need to be purchased months in advance.
6. Crafting a Timeline
When the location has been set and you have a clear picture of what you'd like your day to look like, I'll create a custom timeline that includes every important element of the day. By getting your vision out on paper, you'll be able to share with any other vendor and feel secure and stress-free, knowing we're one step closer to having everything ready!
7. The Best Day
Your day has arrived! Seriously, it's probably felt like a long time coming, but you've finally made it. We may be starting out before sunrise to catch the sun's morning glow at an amazing outlook or maybe we'll be staying late for some late night stargazing. The day will be filled with adventure and love. While we may have met for the first time that day, you'll arrive knowing you already have a friend in me who will help capture the day. Don't assume it's going to feel like a photo shoot, though! Creating an authentic experience and capturing epic photos work together to make for an unforgettable day.
8. Viewing Your Gallery
8 weeks after your wedding day, you'll receive an email from me saying that your gallery is ready to be delivered! Grab your favorite takeout, pour a glass of your favorite beverage, and enjoy a date night as you view your photos and relive the memories of your elopement!
