Stunning Howe Farms, Chattanooga Wedding at The Loft
Jackie & Jason’s Stunning Howe Farms, Chattanooga Wedding at The Loft took my breath away! Photographing their special day was a perfect way to wrap up the fall season of weddings.
Howe Farms is one of the most well known wedding venues in Chattanooga and for good reason. This location has 6 different venues for couples to choose from and despite it being a Thursday, each location has a different couple getting married that day! Jason & Jackie had chosen The Loft as the spot for their wedding. While urban inspired, the white walls and large chandeliers paired so well with the elegant decor of the reception space. The outdoor ceremony space is set within a garden area as the sun sets behind the couple saying their vows. My favorite feature though is the balcony that overlooks the reception space as it’s perfect for capturing images with motion using a slow shutter speed!
Jackie started her morning with her ladies as they began to get ready bright and early. Since they got an early start, as the first look approached, everyone had plenty of time to chill and enjoy everyone’s company.
Jason’s morning was a little busier as he was working on getting the sound system working perfectly. As a sound technician, he made sure to solve a few issues before beginning to get ready with his guys. We headed outside to get ready by the Jaguar car that was rented as a getaway vehicle which matched perfectly with Jason’s race car cufflinks.
The first look was probably my favorite part of the day as they first spent a few moments holding each other's hand and talking before Jason turned around. This was perfect because it gave them time to feel present in the moment before the bigger moments of the day. First looks should never be rushed, and I loved seeing them chatting about their day so far, the expectations for the rest of the day, and their encouragement to each other in reminding the other that they’d be with them from here on out! So cute!
The rest of the day was just as beautiful as it had begun. Both read personal vows at the altar (always a highlight for me) and shared the sweetest kiss as they walked back up the aisle after being pronounced husband and wife.
The ceremony ended with just enough time to grab sunset photos before heading in for the reception & dancing. The smiles and laughter just kept coming all the way to their sparkler grand exit!
